New data paper: Petroleum and Press — Concepts about Oil in Polish Periodical Press, 1853–1918

This data paper describes a dataset of 18,361 issues from roughly 800 Polish-language periodicals mentioning petroleum, published between 1 January 1853 and 31 December 1918. Alongside periodicals from historically Polish territories, it includes diasporic Polish-language press from elsewhere in Europe, Brazil, and the United States — OCRed, layout-segmented, and retrieved from the Polona aggregator.
